The Mobile County Training School was a secondary school for African Americans in Plateau, Ala. Prior to 1915, the Mobile County Training School was known as Plateau Normal and Industrial Institute. In addition to academic courses such as history, literature, and mathematics, the school taught cooking, sewing, blacksmithing, agriculture, and other industrial sciences.
